Drumla
Farm is accessed from the main road (A841) in between the two turnings
for Kildonan.
Arran
is accessible by ferry from Ardrossan (the MV Caledonian Isles - 11,000
tonnes and capable of carrying almost 100 cars) to Brodick (sailing time
55 minutes) and in summer by an additional ferry between Claonaig (on
the Kintyre peninsula) and Lochranza.
A
train and bus service from Glasgow connects directly with the Arran
ferry at Ardrossan.
It
is not possible to book a place on the Lochranza ferry (first come,
first served - but this small ferry sails hourly, sailing time 30
minutes), but if coming by car to Ardrossan, we strongly advise
you to book in advance.
